Description

This is a reprocess on LBN558/LDN1250/1 I did back in 2019 and never liked it the original.

LBN 558, containing dark nebulae LDN-1250/1 to the left and LDN-1246 to the right and is situated in the northern part of Cepheus known as the Cepheus flare region. There are also three PGC spiral galaxies seen in this image. PGC 69472 is to the left sitting at the nose of LBN 558, PGC 166755 is just left of center and PGC 69031 is just left of top center. LBN 558 ranks at 6 on the LBN brightness scale, as dim as they get. At bottom right, you can see LDN 1235 (aka) The Shark Nebula just coming into view.
